 note = {東京都立大学大学院工学研究科土木工学専攻(担当: 岩楯敞広教授)と西安交通大学建築工程与土木学院(担当: 兪茂宏教授)とは、平成13年度～平成15年度の3年間の研究協定を結び、都市の防災に関する共同研究「中国西部地域の地震応答特性に関する研究」を実施中である。西安地域は、古くから中国の西北、中原、西南の交通に重要な役割を担ってきており、近年、中国西部大開発の国策の一環として、新しい都市の構築を図るため道路・鉄道、電気、水道、ガス等の整備・建設が行われている。西安地域は、過去に狹西省華県地震、寧夏省海原地震などの大地震が数多く発生し、大きな地震被害を受けており、中国において日本と同様に地盤・構造物の耐震性に関する研究は、都市防災上極めて重要な研究テーマである。本共同研究は、このような背景により立案したものである。平成13年度においては、①中国西安地域の過去の地震被害に関する文献調査、②西安交通大学及び周辺地域の微動観測と構造物および、地盤応答特性の検討、③黄土の力学的特性に関する土質試験を実施した。本報告では、①及び②の結果について述べる。, This paper reports the international joint research between Tokyo Metropolitan University and Xi'an University on seismic response of the surface ground and the existing buildings in Xi'an area as follows. 1 The earthquake disasters of the ground and structures in Xi'an area due to old earthquake events were clarified by the survey of the existing papers and data. 2 Microtremor measurements were conducted on the surface ground and the existing building in Xi'an University campus and the surrounding area. The dynamic properties (predominant frequency，the depth of the surface layer) of the ground，and the natural frequencies and vibration modes of the structures，were clarified.
