 note = {2000年9月に実施した東京版総合社会調査の概要について報告する。本調査は、高齢少子化、高度情報化、グローバル化などの趨勢のもとで、大都市・東京の社会構造と社会意識がどのように変化していくかを明らかにすることを目的とした総合社会調査であり、今後5年おきに実施する予定である。2000年調査では、20歳以上70歳未満の東京都民を母集団とし、層化多段系統抽出法により3000人を抽出して、郵送法により、年齢、性別、家族状態、社会経済的地位、集団参加、社会的ネットワーク、職業移動、家族意識などについて謂査を実施した。有効回答数は987であった。標本抽出にあたっては、東京都54市区町村を対象とする因子生態学的な分析をもとに、地域類型を構成し、母集団の層化を行った。標本抽出手続きの詳細と、抽出された地点ごとの有効回答者数について論じる。, This paper describes an outline of the General Social Survey of Tokyo conducted in 2000. The aim of this survey is to analyze the changing urban social structure and attitudes of the urbanites in the Tokyo Metropolis which may be affected by such general trends as an increasing rate of eldely people and a decreasing of young children，informationalization of technology，and the globalization of economy. In order to attain our goal，we plan to conduct general social surveys in every five years from 2000. In the 2000 survey，three thousand citizens of the Metropolis at the age of twenty to sixty-nine were selected as respondents through a stratified systematic multi-stage sampling. A mail questionnaire was designed to measure respondent's age，gender，family，socio-economic status，social participation，personal networks，occupational mobility，and perceived norms of the family. We mailed questionnaires in September 2000. 987 respondents retured them. Detailed sampling procedure on the basis of the classification of 54 municipalities of the Tokyo Metropolis，produced by a factorial ecological analysis，and distribution of the actual respondents among the selected localities are discussed in the paper., postprint},
