 note = {本報告は、東京都内およびその周辺圏における近年の学校歴に対する関心の高まりに注目して、親の学校歴と子どもの学校歴との関連を探ろうとするものである。ただし、ここでは、1992年11月におこなった「教育と友人関係に関する調査」の分析結果を踏まえ、調査を主導した仮説、問題関心についてのべ、あわせて調査のプロセスと結果の概要を紹介することを中心的課題としている。親の学校歴と子どもの学校歴との関連をさぐるとともに、子どもの性差や居住地による差異がこの関連をどのように屈折させるか、また都市度や階層の差異が友人ネットワークの形成にどのように反映するかなども、調査研究の主題に含まれていた。このようなテーマを解読し、先行研究の成果を踏まえて仮説構成の意味づけをおこない、あわせて学校歴を偏差値のキャリアとして操作化する点についても説明をおこなっている。, This report outlines the results obtained from samples made as part of our research into the basic conditions for more intensive competition in children's education in the metropolitan areas. We interviewed women between the ages of 35 and 50 from the districts of Bunkyou Ward，Kita Ward，Machida City and Oume City. We then tried to draw up the total picture of children's educational career issues from the simple total of demographic variables. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of parents' educational careers on their children's own educational careers.
