The authors and their col1egues tried to make a new form of earhquake disaster database for Edo (old downtown Tokyo). The authors used computer graphics and text in their database is called a map database of earthquake disasters. The target events of this database are the Ansei-Edo Earthquake of 1855 and the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923.
