To base the evaluation of this damage prediction method on damage experiences, a detailed analysis of the actual condition of existing buildings and examples of damage is indispensable. Today's great diversification of building types makes it necessary to take the characteristics of buildings carefully into account The damage to incidental facilities depends on the damage to the buildings themselves, and the influence of the former on the number casualties must be considered. From the above-stated perspective, this report outlines the following items of damage prediction for buildings and incidental facilities. 1. Earthquake damage estimation for wooden houses 2. Earthquake damage estimation for building structures 3. Estimation of damage to buildings caused by ground liquefaction 4. Estimation of damage to dangerous building facilities 5.
