After evaluation for an individual facility by determining a loss function and a risk function,the evaluation method can be developed for wide spread system like a metropolitan area. In this procedure,correlation among various structural facilities should be adequately considered. Then,practical seismic damage estimation method based on the pattern recognition technique and “Fuzzy Set” theory is briefly introduced.
