Surveys of residents living in a public housing compound of Tama New Town，Aoyama and Naze City were done. Also surveyed were residents of detached houses living in these three locations. Many differences were found to exsit between the six groups (three location x two differences of residence) concerning comfortableness and their social attitudes.
