The comparison covered nursing managers (15) and novice nurses (25) at participating institutions, and nursing managers (13) and novice nurses (17) at non-participating institutions, and the finding was that there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups with respect to turnover rate, wish to continue with nursing, or nursing skill acquisition self-confidence.
