A prototype of a flat-flame\nultra-micro combustor with a volume of 0.067 cm3 was made and\ntested. It was found that the flame stability region of the flat-flame,\nwhich is governed by the heat losses in the combustor, satisfied the\noptimum operation region of the UMGT. The combustion\nefficiency achieved was more than 99.2 %.
