第二世代であるユルゲン・ハーパーマスによって切り聞かれたコミュ
ニケーション論的転回という地平も重視している.しかし， ホネット
は，ハーパーマスがその地平を語用論による言語分析の方向に展開したことを批判し，それはむしろ人間学的な承認論の方向に展開されるべきであると論じている.その際，彼は創始者たちが重視し，ハーパ
ーマスが軽視した「社会的労働J を，再度，承認論の観点から「学的
反省に先立つ解放の審級J として捉え直そうと試みている.すなわち
ホネットは，社会的労働における承認の期待が損なわれるという経験が，社会的不正の経験の根底にあるということを示そうとしているわけである.しかしながら，こうした試みが成功を収めるためには，r労
働者の主体性J を生産効率の鍵と見なす現代の労働環境の下では，労働における「真の承認J と「偽の承認J とを区別できなければならな
い.しかし，それは相当な困難を伴うように思われる.では，社会批判の可能性の条件とはどのようなものか，本稿ではこの点も若干ではあるが検討しておきたい., The objective of this writing is to examine the
possibilities and limits of the Critical social theory of Axel
Honneth， who is known as the third generation of the Frankfurt
School. He inherits the perspective of “pre ・theoretical resource"
from the founders of Critical social theory， and at the same time
values horizon of communication turn developed by Jurgen
Habermas of the secohd generation. However， Honneth criticizes
the fact that Habermas expanded the horizon towards linguistic
analysis by pragmatics ， and argues that it should rather be
expanded towards an anthropological recognition theory. In doing
so ， he attempts to redistribute the “social labor" disregarded by
Harbermas， as a “pre-theoretical resource" from the point of
recognition theory. In specific ， Honneth attempted to demonstrate
that the underlying experience of social injustice is the experience
of failing to meet the recognition expectations of social labor.
Although， in order to succeed in such attempt ， it is necessary to
distinguish the “true recognition" from a“false recognition" of
labor ， under the modern labor environment that considers the
“independence of the worker" as the key to production efficiency.
However， this attempt seems to be associated with much difficulty.
