 note = {立川市曙町地区・高松町地区の一部について2010 年に実施した郵送調査の結果のうち、本稿では（1）住民構成と居住状況、（2）定住意識、（3）地域社会との関わり、（4）定住層の状況、（5）新規居住者の状況について分析を行った。その結果、以下の点が確認された。
　（1）市内他地域と比較すると持ち家率が高く、持ち家を購入してこの地域に居住する家族世帯（核家族）が多い。
　（2）地域活動、住民間の交流は特に活発ではないが、利便性に対する評価は高く、定住志向は強い。
　（3）居住歴5 年未満の住民は6 割近くが20 歳代・30 歳代で、45% が民間賃貸住宅に居住しており、転居の可能性がある流動層と位置づけられる。, The data of this article is based on the survey of community life in a suburban city, conducted in Tachikawa, Tokyo. As a result we found three issues below;
(1) Comparing to other areas of Tachikawa, more residents live in owner occupied houses.
(2) Community activities and communication among the residents are not much popular but resident intention to stay live in is high.
(3) Among the residents who live less than 5 years, 60% are in their 20’s and 30’s and 45% live in rented accommodation, and those people are likely to move., Article},
