As a result of the cluster analysis based on the scores of the principal components analysis, the obtained disastrous divisions in the 1970s are group 1 (high-disastrous areas), group 2 (urbanized areas of building damage type), group 3 (rural areas of snow and fire disaster type), group 4 (metropolitan areas of flood type) and group 5 (non-disastrous areas). The geographical distribution of these groups was shown in Fig. 15.
