These consumption phenomena present new value to companies and brands, and their characteristics and marketing implications are needed. Therefore, this study examines the reasons and factors for supporting brands through qualitative research. As a result of three studies, it was confirmed that there are six major factors that contribute to brands being supported, and that these factors are linked and also show that they are related to people’s psychological tendencies.
