In recent years, human capital research in HRM has focused on measuring human capital resources, consistent with the objectives of human capital management in Japan. Human capital management is “an activity to increase medium- and long-term corporate value through the activities of employees”, and its realisation requires (1) linking management strategy with HR strategy and (2) bundling individual human capital into organisational strength.
